A Million Fans

This is all over the Facebook fan site, but in order to record the date for posterity, I'll also mention it here. (It will soon be irretrievably lost in all the Facebook clutter.)

This afternoon, the lindseystomp YouTube channel crossed the 1 Million subscriber mark, a truly impressive achievement. She has truly figured out how to harness the power of the Internet to market herself while avoiding most of those "boxes" she she so hates to be placed in. So, congrats, Lindsey, on your stellar success and a tip of the hat to you as your star continues to rise.

BTW, does anyone know how to get a plot of the number of subscribers and number of views vs. date?

I feel like a veteran, I discovered Lindsey when she has a few thousand subscibers ! Now she has more than a million, amazing!

No doubt it was much more personable back then, with Lindsey having a lot more time to interact with her fans on her website. I've read through her old blogs, but with the increasing demands that her new-found popularity imposes, such things seem to have fallen victim to her general lack of time, and I suspect it will only get worse as her star continues to rise.

So, Pierre, tell us what it was like back then.
