Tour in europe?

Post by Mickyman on Sun Oct 21, 2012 7:45 pm

Hello!

I noticed she is on tour in the US. So my question is, will she also go on tour in Europe?

I'm from the Netherlands myself and would love to attend to one of her performances.

I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times, but I searched the forum but nothing came up.

Kind regards.

Hi Mickyman. Welcome to the forum. Lindsey will be touring Europe in January, I believe, but I have no idea where she'll be performing. Perhaps someone else here knows more.

Lindsey has said that she really wants to see italy again, and I think she also mentioned going to Germany this time around. The tour will start in January, and possibly end in March.

As yet no dates / venues have been announced, but I'm sure we'll read about it on her homepage as soon as they are set.

If she does go to Germany, I might have to travel there.

Thanks for the replies everyone.

The thing about the tour in Europe, it will only be 2 weeks long unfortunately.

On last month's tour, I think her promoters badly underestimated Lindsey's popularity. With a few exceptions, like Webster Hall, I believe they booked her in venues which were much too small. Many sold out in only a few days.

I hope they don't make the same mistake on the Euro tour, both in the sizes of the venues and in the length of the tour. It's clear to me that she has enough of a fan base there to support more than a dozen odd performances.

I remember the venue I saw her at in Berkeley was good. The only problem was that it was a ballroom rather than an auditorium so there was no backstage for people.

Oh my god... if this became true in the USA multiple times(New York, Berkley and I guess also in LA) the concerts will be sold out in Germany very fast... I think my plan will be staying up on the day, the tickets will be sold and buy multiple tickets for the closest show for friends and me. And if the tour really will just be 2 weeks long, I guess many people, maybe a lot of them are from eastern Europe, will be disappointed.

But in the end, we´ll stay fans!

Two weeks?

That is really short. Maybe they underestimated how popular Lindsey is in Europe?

She should perform in the Ziggo dome in Amsterdam. There you have room for 5.500 to 17.000 people. Very Happy

I think there are lot of fans, only they are spread over different countries and not everybody has the luxury to travel so...

And I only know of one fan in the Netherlands haha, two if I include Mickyman(from what area are you?)

We'll just have to wait until the dates and locations are announced.

the lowest chance to see her on a venue in their own country are, in my opinion: Swiss, Austrians, Serbians, Russians, Finn,... I guess she´ll spend the most time in UK, France, Italy and I hope Germany.

I guess there´s also a low chance for Spain and Portugal.

Those are all countries that are near by so that wouldn't be a problem for me. I only hope that I can drag somebody with me so that I don't have to go all by my self. tongue

UK, France, Italy and Germany should definitely be on the list, there is a huge fan base from these 4 countries!

I think she has enough support in russia and spain for doing some shows and she can do a lot of more shows at france, germany and UK.

From what has been said Austria is probably the biggest EU fan base for Lindsey.
