How to License a Cover
I have a question I thought I would put out there. I understand a mechanical license is needed to obtain non-exclusive commercial rights to cover a song, for the the purpose of a audio only distribution.
How does one go about attaining a license to have the same recording in a video that is distributed commercially? Youtube as the intended distribution channel.
I figured Lindsey or her fans, or someone reading this might have an idea of how to go about this.
Thank you!
