Other types of music?

Post by BBowles on Wed Nov 21, 2012 7:40 pm

We've all seen the amazing work Lindsey has done by combining the violin with Dubstep. Is there any other genres you guys would like to see her make original songs in, maybe perhaps on her next album? I know a lot of us would like to see her compose an original "classical violin" piece. What else? More hip hop? Country? (Yes, I realize she's not a country fan Razz)

Personally, I would love to see her write something in the style of Matchbox 20/Goo Goo Dolls, but with the violin featured instead of having lyrics.

I would enjoy a country song or two, but what I really want to hear is like a rock song in the style of 80's Rock. Something like Queen or Bon Jovi would be awesome in my opinion.

I was a huge metal head before I discovered Lindsey's music. In fact I still am haha. But I listen to many types of music depending on my mood. The only things I really don't like are rap, country, or opera. I do enjoy some country and I guess there is a little rap here and there. But I guess they're just not my favorite.

Top 5 Artist/Bands:

1. Killswitch Engage
2. Dream Theater
3. Breaking Benjamin
4. Shinedown
5. Lindsey Stirling (BAM!)
