your favourite tv-series
Hey Sterlingites,
Acutally, I´m ill and I guess it won´t change until friday(when I get my exam mark ^^). So I have a lot of time to waste at home. And I am a series junky! I think I watched about 30 tv series, the major part is of course from the USA. But now I´m looking for new tv series because only one or two new episodes each day would just take about 80 minutes and a day has 24 hours to spent.
Of course, I would send out some applications to some companies, where I´d like to work but for me it seems to be no good idea because I wouldn´t leave a good impression during the job interview.
So maybe you can tell me some series. Im already watching season 2 of Pretty Little Liars, Community, Supernatural, almost every well-known comedy series like Scrubs, HIMYM, Suburgatory, 2 Broke Girls(in Germany the series started about 5 weeks ago and I like it), 90210(at the moment we can watch season 4 in german, it´s so stupid how long the people need to translate and synchronise the series)... As you can see, I watch some of the series, which are made for girls(primary like 90210...)
And yes, I´ll also read a book... I currently started reading the first part of the "Game of Thrones"-collection but it`s so hard to keep all the persons right connected to the chapters and their descriptions... maybe I should look for an audio book edition ^^
Hope, someone could help me and yeah... until I´m fine again, I just listen to Lindsey´s songs...
bye,
Fabian

Re: your favourite tv-series
wow, to be honest, I watched so many series, that I thought, you´ll just count series, I already watched.
But I didn´t watch all episodes of Shameless yet(started the first season in german about 6 months ago but I had to wait to long for new episodes.
I looked for Hero Corp, but there´s now download available for it, so I decided to watch Game of Thrones(it´s kind of obligation to watch it) and The Lying Game. I watched CSI for a long time but because I had not enough free space at my harddrives I decided to cancel it, same aims at NCIS.
I think Misfits is one of the best series I´ve ever seen. In my opinion, you shouldn´t just watch t, you should think about it, how these teenagers emerge and how their bound gets stronger.
Thank you two guys for your advices, nevertheless: you others could continue posting your favourites!

Re: your favourite tv-series
Doctor Who is awesome because it has no definite genre.
I also like Psych, I tend to watch more movies than TV shows though.

I would say it's basically SciFi with a bit of everything else mixed in. Great show BTW!kenton.baker wrote:Doctor Who is awesome because it has no definite genre.

Re: your favourite tv-series
Hey, I'm the only one who doesn't follow any TV series?
I like to watch N.C.I.S. (I used to follow before Jenny's death, I hate Vance), Doctor Who, Scrubs, Simpsons and Castle.... but I can't follow anything!
I tried to do with a very good Italian series called "Romanzo Criminale" (Bandit Novel, or something like that), which is one of the two Italian series from 60 years of italian TV that you can say it's made the way it should, but it's too hard for me to sit down every week and watch one single program.... I get tired very soon, and eventually I lost some serious parts of the story!

Oh Fabrizio, of course you are not the only one, who doesn´t follow any tv series. The problem you have with every series, I had with the Game of Thrones tv pendant. With 60 minutes per episode, I think it´s too long for me. I had to watch the first epidsode for 3 times, until I finished it and decided not to watch it yet.

Re: your favourite tv-series
hahaha.
Actually, I've seen both the Game of Thrones series, now!
I just recorded them when they passed on TV and watched when I wanted!
That's far easier! XD
And, all I can say is.... Game of Thrones is AWESOME!
I have to read the books!
I must do that!
I can't wait until they release the new series, they won't do that in USA until March!
